Peg Nordling
Title: On-Air Personality & Office Manager
Email: pnordling@kjam.threeeagles.com

After graduation from Brown Institute in Minneapolis, I accepted my first radio job far from home at KRYK in Chinook, Montana. I loved Montana and stayed for about 2-1/2 years trying my hand at various aspects of radio…even tried doing color for sports play-by-play, which turned out to be a disaster. My next radio adventure took me to KBWS in Sisseton, South Dakota where I stayed for 1 year doing a little bit of everything! I then ended up back in my hometown of Madison working at KJAM. In my 15 plus years at KJAM

I have gained a lot of experience and responsibilities and have lived through many co-workers! When I'm not on the air, I work in the office taking care of billing and traffic and whatever else they come up with! When I'm not at work, I enjoy watching my kids play the sports of the season otherwise when I have the time I enjoy walking, gardening, watching HGTV and Grey's Anatomy!!

Back behind the mike of KJAM once again, and this time being paid! (Occasionally) My sad little radio career began at KJAM during High School. I received plenty of great inspiration and training from Peg Nordling, so much so that after High School, I ran off to Brown Institute in Minneapolis. After graduating from Brown in 2001, I found a job at K101/KQAD in Luverne MN. I ran an AM morning show thre for about five years, while doing a lot of sports broadcasting as well. During that time in Luverne, I picked up a wife and most recently a young son. In the fall of 2006, we cam back home to Madison and KJAM.

Matt Hendrickson
Title: On-Air Personality/ Sports Director/ Voice of the Madison Bulldogs
Email: mhendrickson@kjam.threeeagles.com

I've been with KJAM for the most part since 2002, officially making this my longest job ever! All kidding aside, I'm originally from Dell Rapids and earned my bachelor's degree from South Dakota State University. Currently, you can catch me late afternoons on Jammin' County, playing your favorite hits, keeping you updated on the weather, and generally helping your work day go just a bit faster! I'm also on "Dakota's Best" where I'm on my third year as the "Voice of the Bulldogs", as well as the producer and host for the "KJAM / Dairy Queen Sports Spotlight" on Saturdays.

In my spare time, I enjoy reading, singing, and cheering on my Minnesota Vikings, SDSU Jackrabbits and DSU Trojans. I am also involved with Kiwanis International, serving this year as president of the Madison chapter. I also enjoy spoiling my niece, Zoey (or as I like to call her Swee' Pea!) Feel free to drop me a line and say "Hi!" I look forward to hearing from you!

I lived in Oklahoma my entire life…graduated from Oklahoma State University then decided it was time for a change in scenery. So after shrinking my life down to one car load, I head to Madison, SD for an exciting career in radio at KJAM. My passion is sports but I've grown to love my afternoons on AM 1390 as well. I'll always be an Okie at heart, but the great residents of Madison have made me feel right at home.

Jim Otis
Title: On-Air Personality/ Voice of Area Sports

I was born in St. Paul Minnesota and graduated from White Bear Lake High School in 2001. After a couple of years at a Junior College I made my way up to North Dakota State University. While in Fargo I worked at the NDSU campus radio station KNDS, first as the Sports Director and then as the Station Manager. I graduated from NDSU in May of 2007 and recently started here at KJAM.

I am a huge sports fan and I always find time to follow my favorite teams, The Twins, Green Bay Packers, Minnesota Wild, the Timberwolves and of course the NDSU Bison. I may also be the biggest fan of the IndyCar racing series that there is in this part of the country. I enjoy playing golf as much as humanly possible, and also enjoy playing basketball, and softball.

Dylan Hunter Title: News Director

Dylan Hunter came to KJAM after taking a 4 ˝ year hiatus from radio to pursue personal interests in the U.S. Virgin Islands where he lived on an old wooden sailboat harbored in Coral Bay, on the island of St. John. However, during that time Dylan worked with Ackley Media Group building and programming a new Classic rock Station on St. Thomas, WIVI, Pirate Radio 96.11. Dylan is a native of Nashville TN, where he worked for many years as a multi-instrumental road/studio musician and record producer.

In addition to being a accomplished songwriter, Dylan plays rhythm and lead guitar, Dobro, slide guitar, mandolin and does both lead and harmony vocals. He has an exceptional knowledge of country music, email and pick his brain. Asked why the move from the Caribbean to South Dakota, Dylan states: "You can take the boy out of the country, but……awwwww….y'all know the rest".
